Echoes Of Silence
I don't understand
Where it all went wrong.
Everything I see
Tells me here you belong.
I look into the mirror
And my eyes see a face
You once said was pretty
But now seems out of place.
When I search my mind,
I see only pain.
Frustration, and anger,
Confusion does reign.
And when I search my soul
I feel love crying out.
Dying unfulfilled.
What is it all about?
I reach out for answers
Through darkness so intense,
But when I search my heart
It echoes.....only silence.
