    Touch Another World

     You took me out of the dark
    Showed me wonders in the light
    Made me feel beyond my world
    Made my heart take flight.
    You taught me how to trust
    You taught me how to dream
    You filled my heart with hope
    You showed my eyes how to see.
    I laid my soul at your feet
    Take within your care.
    Now it's scattered on the wind
    And I am alone and scared.
    Now I am in the dark
    With a pain I cannot ease.
    Because I touched another world
    And all I have is memories.

    this is so powerful and real...it made me ache. beautiful phrasing and perfect rhythm don't hurt either :)...10
