Finality

The end is near
No time to spare
No time to shed a million tears
No time to conquer all my fears

The time is nigh
No more whys
No more sighs
No more goodbyes

The days go by
Soon he must fly
And I must try
Not to die

Outstanding short write here which tells it all in only a few short lines... You've captured the frustration, the angst, the acceptance of the inevitable here... Great write... Try two of mine along this same sentiment... My Last Goodbye, and I Ain't Takin' Anymore....

Nice poem and so true when we lose someone we love. I have been there to much lately.

Don't change a thing, strong bold and powerful, it stings.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
