For Him

Poem Commentary

For son's father...as much as I'm not fond of him many times, he's so important to my son and that's what really matters.

For Him

It's not a secret that we don't like each other,
But we both love him,
He has changed both of our lives,
As angry as I get at you sometimes,
I always remember it took two,
I see you in his smile,
And hear you in his laugh,
His energy, his drive, his love for sports,
All you,
We both make an impact in his life,
I could never ignore that,
Thank you for what you teach him,
For being there for him,
For loving him as much as I do.

That's a very unselfish thing that you do, I admire the love you have for your son. I enjoyed reading this.

Thank you.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
