'Forever and Always'

'Forever and Always'

As I sit and ponder perfection
One face comes to mind.
His smile, his laugh, his kiss
Right down to his perfect blue eyes.
It's everything about him
That makes him so amazing.
When he touches my back
Chills erupt that are thrilling.
He whispers in my ear
'Always and Forever.'
He kisses my neck and smiles,
knowing we'll always be together.
He strokes my hand as we drive,
Sneaking kisses at red lights.
All the little inside jokes,
Remembers every single time.
We never argue because it's love,
I dare you to find something that is more real than us.

Sounds like you're really happy as the poem expresses so well. The rhythm was off for me a little, but overall I enjoyed the read. Nice work friend, Gary

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
