    How Perfect We Could Be

    When you open your eyes
    I know you’ll see
    How perfect
    We could be

    My only fear
Is that it could be too late
    Open them now
    And see whats there

    We could make Romeo
    and Juliet jealous
    The Notebook wouldn’t begin
    To compare

    What we have here
    Goes so much deeper
    We have so much
    Just see baby see

    How perfect we could be
    If you would only see
    What is standing
    In front of you

    That we are the couple
That would make em all jealous
    The love we could have
Is the one every girl dreams of

And I never thought I’d find it
And I thought it was just a crush
But in the end I truly saw
How much I’ve come to love….
    How perfect we could be

The way you walk in the hall
The way you smile at me
The laugh and those shnugg jeans
    The eyes that melt me

I love it all about you
    Even when youre mad
    I love spending every minute
    Holding your hand

When I tell you I love you
    I wish that one day
    You scream it back
    ‘Cuz you finally did see

    How perfect we could be
    If you would only see
    What is standing
    In front of you

    That we are the couple
That would make em all jealous
    The love we could have
    Is every girls dream

And I never thought I’d find it
And I thought it was just a crush
But in the end I truly saw
How much I’ve come to love….
    How perfect we could be

Every time you walk past me
I just hold in a scream
    A silent tear
    rolls on down my cheek

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
