    grandpa

     I sit and wonder how long
    this stupid smile will hold
    before I tell them they're wrong
    that I'm not that cold

    He was my grandpa
    And yes, I loved him
    He was the kindest person i knew
    And yes, I love him

    "I'm so sorry.",
    I can only smile and nod
    inside, saying, "So am I."
    Because I don't care that hes with God

    Why can't he be here?
    i wish he was here
    I wish he didnt go
    I wish i didnt fear

    I can understand, I lost my grandpa only a few months ago. It hurts but the pain will go away in time, just don't let go of the memories you had with him. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
