    Halloween

    The moon is full,
    a howl is heard...
    a bump in the night,
    the dead are stirred!

    Ghoolies roam with
    hideous grin,
    and await midnight
    for fun to begin.

    Fake witches chant
    with spying eyes,
    as jack-o-lanterns
    light the night.

    The ghosts come out,
    the wolves bear teeth...
    all in favor
    of childlike treats!

    So guard your child
    and guard him well...
    keep him away
    where ghoolies dwell!

    Give him some treats
    and keep him home,
    and leave the tricks
    and ghoolies alone!

    Keep him from
    midnights delight,
    for he'll not return
    from Halloween night!

I like this one-however I am a sucker for free candy.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
