    Heaven and Paradise

The souls that float in heaven,
    Immortality they sustain,
    Made a trip to paradise,
    And there wish to remain.

The rivers flowed with luscious wine,
    The men and women danced.
    Surely souls would choose paradise
    If they had the chance.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
