Her answer (in her own words, not mine)

    Water slides down the windowpane
    dripping slowly off the sill.
    Clouds move, darkening the sunlight
    casting shadows everywhere.

    Leaves darken and slowly die
    falling softly to the ground.
    Clouds move, darkening the sunlight
    casting shadows everywhere.

I press my face to the window-
the water mixes with the tears
that flow silently down my face
    as I watch the destruction

    of my heart.

Rain can be dark and it can be clearing, to shed tears for the ski crying is beautiful. A 10 from me, because I feel what you feel. Write on!

Very well written. This I understand! Sometimes when it rains,I cry for all that has happened to me,as if the sky cries too. Other times, its as if the rain is the pain only the sky can own!,,,but there are also times the rain feels like a special kiss. This poem is masterfully poetic. Its statement commanding. very beautifully written.Thank you!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
