    Mommy

You told me you loved me
    but you lied
    because you don't.

You told me you'd never hurt me
    but you lied
    because I hurt.

You told me you'd never leave me
    but you lied
    because you left.

You asked me if I still loved you
    and I said I did
    but I lied.

I don't really know what to say here. Very sad.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
