    House-Keeping

    I should be washing dishes
But squirrels are playing in the backyard.

I should be dusting and sweeping
But the sun is so warm on the back deck

I should be mopping the kitchen floor
But there are wild flowers to be admired.

I should be vacuuming the carpet
But the breeze is perfect for kite flying.

    I should be doing laundry
But the fish are biting in the pond.

After a long winter, it is finally spring,
And my house will just stay messy a while longer.

    A fun poem to read..................................

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
