    I am but a ghost
    I am but a ghost
    A shadow in your mind
    A figment of your memories
    Faded over time
    A cloud across the sun
    A specter in your dreams
    A faint and fading image
    An echo that was me.
    I am but a ghost
    Still clinging to this life
    A haunting, twisted ember
    Lost inside the night.
    A soul that’s left to wander
    On the edges of your heart
    I am but a ghost
    Destined for the dark.
