    i speak poetry

    mic jams and poetry slams
    i keep the crowd entertained
and detained till my voice is through
speaking words of what is true
    first written in my heart
    to tare this forum apart
    with poetic scriptures
    and mentaly painted pictures
    sipping knowledge through pitchers
    of infanant thoughts captured
    and raptured this skill
    until the day i die
and even when the day may rise
my words will still open the eyes
of the blind to new signs
ok a kind of life to live
and give love where love is needed
    and seeded the fields
    for more to come
    whom some will become
    not followers but leaders
in this world and speak their
    mind for the next generation
    to hear our words
    and take our places
and speak the words of poetry.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
