As i stand silent muzzled with a gun in my mouth unable to taste the tears my mind flashes like time sped up remembering each and every moment that lead me to this,each and every moment that lead to this.I remember the beatings given and watched,the screams screamed and silenced, the scars that once bled and shed all that i...you were,the lies and the truth bent,the let downs and the down falls,the love so easily taken away,the abandonment and cold lonely nights,the fights and the words, the street and the curbs,the drugs and the clinics,the stealing and the stolen,the heartbreaks and the child.......the child.So frail i watched you grow up sheltered by age yet tormented by the elders,forgotten of youth and strong with hands to bleed the soul of a life so innocent.The mirror stained by past images weeping,hurting,the scratch marks of trying to tare at yourself to rid yourself of what you see,what you are,what you were made to be,the mirror that never breaks,never lies, never steers you wrong and will always let you know where you stand.So here i stand,face to face with myself,gun muzzled and ready to go starring into the eyes starring back into me my finger on the trigger and the tears i can not taste.......and a mirror that never lied.

and silence became my fate.
