    I Watch The World Unfold

     I watch the world unfold
    Before my very eyes
    A heart now lies in pieces 
    Shattered by your lies
    The endless bounds of time
    With its wrenching wrapping chains
    Shall grant you an eternity
    Then snatch it back again
    The walls they stand so tall
    I see them crashing to the ground
    The loneliness in silence 
    Echoes a painful bellowing sound
    While walking beside 
    The mirror of time
    Some semblance of life 
    I'm trying to find
    Through the reflection 
    Of past memories
    Amongst the cloisters 
    Pulses the spirit of me
    In love and life I'm drowning
    The darkness bids me well
    As today will die tomorrow
    Only my fortune could foretell
    Doubtful in dreams 
    Yet certain in sorrow
    Unsure of life 
    Must I deny tomorrow

    I love the structure in how this was written. I'm going to have to say my favorite section was: While walking beside The mirror of time Some semblance of life I'm trying to find.... Nicely done, Vance. I really like this one a lot.

    Really liked this one Vance - My favorite verse "In love and life I'm drowning The darkness bids me well As today will die tomorrow Only my fortune could foretell" Great work - a 10 from me.
