Imagine

As I lay here
Dreaming of him
I see him in my mind's eye

I see the way his eyes light up
Whenever he hears me laugh
I see his smile
And how I felt knowing I had put it there

I feel his hands caressing my body
THe look of hunger in his eyes making me yearn
I smell his scent
Making me instantly wet

These are allt the things I imagine
As  lay here alone
Wishing he were with me again
Yearning to feel his love one more time

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
