innocence lost

Can he not see what he has done
He ruined my life when it begun
Why must I remember the pain
Can he not suffer the same?

Why was I not believed back then?
Don't they know lying is a sin
Why must they see me as a pest
Don't they know I suffered best.

I lost what little I had
because he decided to be bad.
Why do I get the blame?
He's the one that made the claim.

Won't this pain ever cease?
Then I would finally have some peace
Why can't he be pained by the past?
My misery will eternally last.

A nice emotion expressed a little awkwardly with . Example-he ruined my life when it begun. Also felt like you were using any word that might rhyme which affected the rhythm of your work. All in all a good effort.

Sounds as though you had a relationship that turned bad. I hope you live to love another day. A very nice poem you came up with here to release some of your pain...

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
