    Meetings

     I love the love you've gifted me.
    It comforts me at night.
    Even while lying next to her
    and you're not anywhere in sight..

    I don't go home when I need love.
    Don't comb the bars or hit the streets.
    When it's real love I am looking for
    it's you  I go to meet.

    Might meet you in a restaurant
    or the coffee shop next door.
    Could run into you at the local haunt
    or just show up at your door.

    I'm tired of having to hide this love
    as if it were a crime.
    I'm not ashamed of the love we share.
    I want to enjoy it all the time.
