    Lover's Quarrel
    Just another lover's quarrel
    I don't know why they bother so
    just another lover's quarrel
    why can't I just say no?
    More promises are broken
    why can't they be forgiven?
    more promises are broken
    why can't they be forgotten?
    When apologies are given
    they seem to do no good
    when apologies are given
    please accept them if you would
    For when the quarrels done
    when the dust has settled down
    for when the quarrels done
    and the love is still around
    I yearn to hold you in my arms
    pull you tightly to my breast
    I yearn to hold you in my arms
    to hell with all the rest
    This lover's quarrel seems at best
    better dead and laid to rest.
