MY CUP HAS OVERFLOWED

Poem Commentary

Everybody has a few bills. Now that I'm finaly paid up, I can breath. These folks want you to pay them in small amounts so they can get 35% intrest......BUM.....MER.

MY CUP HAS OVERFLOWED

I've never won a lotto
And I don't think I'll win now,
But that really doesn't matter
Cause I'm so blessed anyhow.

The bill's keep on pileing up
And the collectors are on the phone,
Some even knock on the door
Seem to know when I'm at home.

I don't drive a brand new car
Nor wear fancy cloths and stuff,
And If my health don't fail me
Then I'm already blessed enough.

God has been so good to me
And His mercy has bestowed,
So I'll be drinking from the saucer
Cause my cup has overflowed.

Very positive despite your trials and tribulations, that's a very admirable quality in today's world.

A friend of mine hit the loto. He gave me 30,000.00. and I paid off all the bills and the ballance of the church mortgage., There are tribulations as in this word it will, but all the bills are paid, before I top the hill. Blessings....

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
