    Today I purchased a

     used book

      of poems.

       Copy righted 1953.

     

    There between pages

     102 and 103

      was tucked

       a torn scrap of paper

        with two names

         and a phone number.

     

    Cindy & Allen 381-1636.

     Who were they?

      Where did they come from?

       How did they know the author?

       Were they friends?

     

    No matter,

       they must

         have liked

           poetry.
