No Regrets

No Regrets

I use to notice the fallen leaves
Being carried by the autumn wind
Across the park.
I use to notice the pebbles
Scattered by the riverside.
I use to notice the rain
Falling softly upon my head
And I loved them all.
They were a part of you & me
A part of us & autumn.

It was our time-A time we thought would never end.
It was our autumn.
And as it slowly slipped away-So did we apart.
There’s no regrets.
I only notice a touch of sadness
Every time I walk through the park
Now covered by snow & filled by emptiness.

No, No regrets

Our love wasn’t strong enough to survive the winter.
