    parade

    I'll parade my distance
    to repent my expectations
    then calmly I'll lay down
    first breathing
    then breathless
    first agony
    then I am amazed
to bridge my will I love
    will I fade unto sorrow
    pity of hell
    will I fade fast
I ask my God to hold me
fast I'll fly when I die
    pain I shall endure
pledge my all God is all
pledge the maker catch me if I fall
as I will cry, yes I will shake
my faith is solid even as I quake
all of it to self I'd gladly take
for I know I shall see his face again
as he suffers for those who live in sin
    help me maker teach me
    my souls my place
    sold it long ago replaced
but you would'nt let it go to waste

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
