grateful
Dear God,
today I woke up,
and its alright.
what happened yesterday
died in the night.
You were there once again,
Dear God.
Dear God,
what can I say,
what is the future.
I live in today.
I'm sure it will be fine,
you'll find a way.
Dear God.
Dear Lord,
what is it they say?
We only have this moment in time?
Its true, and its never the same.
If I am not happy,
I'm only to blame.
Oh Lord.
Dear Jesus,
I love your sacrifice.
your loving care.
when I'm frightened,
I know you're here,
wherever I am.
Dear Jesus.
Dear God,
please let me stay grateful,
for each and every moment I live.
Let me not mistep or be hateful,
or take you for granted.
I love you.
