Poem Commentary

THIS IS THE WAY I FEEL THE WAY IT IS. I WRITE CAUSE IT LETS ME EXPRESS THE REAL ME. IF YA'LL DIDN'T KNOW THE REAL ME THEN HERE IT IS. TAMMIE ALL THE WAY.

" HURTING"

AS I look back on things then and things now,
It seems like its all the same.
My life just like a book everything then is,
Happening over and over again.
The same story, same song, same emotions,
Same tears to cry, nothing brighter just darker,
Its just a life's cycle.
All the lies, all the promises made,
Only left to be torn and broken apart.
Everything we built the love has left,
It blown away with the wind.
The memories of you still stands strong but our,
Hope and faith in each other; The hoping we get back,
Is to little to late.
My thoughts of living the complete and happy life,
Never will come true.
Its just something impossible.
Why am I still here trying and begging,
Praying to god for us to be.
When you don't take the time and listen,
To know and realize what your heart really wants.
You don't reconginize the real when you have had it or,
Had it in your peression.
Its just a fling, a game to play or you have played,
Its just material.
I'm hurting cause I realized I get played and,
It will never change.
Why Me, Why do I deserve, Did I do anything wrong,
Is this my punishment for being good.
Maybe I deserve cause it still does what it
does.

Thank you again my friend.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
