    flashes
    sounds
    resonate within my
    constantly working
    mind
    time and life
    become blurs
    as the ground
    is ripped out from
    underneath me
    I blink
    and my eyes
    remain closed
    nails scrape
    along my
    sullen ash
    arms
    my eyes
    are forced by will
    to flutter open
    the world
    looks at me
    beautifully colored,
    though, for once
    I can tell
    dream
    from
    reality.

    reality can be a real bite and in its essence the necture of its juices can either be sweet or sour.
