    Red Dress

She walked in the room in a beautiful red dress
Hiding her face behind a striking mask
She walked down the stairs in a graceful glide
Little did anyone know she had something to hide
She danced in the room as the most beautiful one
And she looked as if her heart was in song
And in a moment he caught her eye
In that instant she wanted to die
    Tears began to form
And the feelings came like they did before
She walked to the table and removed her mask
Her heart began to sink and started to crash
"I loved you my love, I wish you could see. Just how much you really hurt me. I hate this feeling I have in my heart, now I know we will always be apart."
She pulled out a gun and shot herself in the chest
And she hit the floor in a horrible clash
He fell to his knees and held her in his arms
And before the trigger was pulled he wanted to say
He really did love her anyway

Interesting, sounds like it could be a song or a movie. Lots of beauty and tragedy arranged in the words. Keep writing. I want to hear more..

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
