    Reflections
    Looking back, in view, perspective
    I try my best to stay objective 
    I thought I always paid attention
    I guess, again, Im wrong
    Staring ahead, myself, the mirror
    Im different now, inside, appearance
    The eyes, not young, escape reflection
    The inner child is gone
    He's hiding in the corner
    Under the covers, where its warmer
    Safer than he's ever known
    Still, he's in the dark, alone
    Chasing on, a dream, a chance
    He's crazy, thats just at a glance
    Inside, the depths are never ending
    Beautiful, somewhat offending
    Beautiful mind and a beautiful soul
    Pure in heart, cant fit the mold
    Bears the scars, a tortured soul
    Young, his eyes are very old
    He's hiding in the corner
    Under the covers, where its warmer
    Safer than he's ever known
    Still, he's in the dark, alone

    rainz... that is a beautiful piece man, touching and heartfelt, raw and open for all to see. i have 6 poems in my favorites, now i'll have 7.
