    set me free

    lost in reason,
    lost in rhyme,
    lost in myself,
    lost in time,
    again.

    pushed to limits,
    to no end,
    stick that knife deep in
    my back
    my friend.

    your gift to me,
    a blood stained rose,
    deserve it not,
but thats the way it goes,
    i see.

    these chains i wear,
    this twisted bond,
    broken now,
    and i move on,
    im free.

    too blind to see,
the door is locked without a key,
    too tough to fall,
show me the way to break through the wall.

    in a guilded cage,
    i release my untamed rage,
    point of no return,
those in my way and i'll watch them burn.

    speaking out of turn,
spread the ashes from the urn,
    rage has blinded me,
but thats what it takes to set me free.

    set me free.

I Definitely relate to this poem Well written Very nice... Take care, All the best. -Marion-

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
