Someone

Someone hears the smallest cry that you might hold down deep inside Someone see’s the smallest tear though it may never leave your eye

When everything seems to have lost it’s purpose on the doorstep of defeat Someone to keep the demons at bay could be the truth to your deceit

Someone feels the pain that you feel just by listening to your voice Someone bows his head in prayer, every night, in hopes that you rejoice

Though the truth is sometimes far from any sound one wants to hear Someone’s there not as to hide it, but maybe to whisper it in your ear

Someone knows the truth despite that fact that it may hide
Someone stands there understanding, standing right there at your side

When your walls are caving in, you feel them tumble to the ground
Someone is the one who’ll cover your ears to block the sound

Someone’s arms are there to shield you from the burden of it all
Someone’s knee’s have bore the weight, while someone’s sin had made them fall

While your heart may bear the cracks of what there was and not no more Someone’s here to help the hurt and suffer through it’s every sore

Someone’s heart has been defiled, broken pieces all so fineSomeone’s heart remains so fragile and that someone’s heart is mine

Every teardrop you have shed, every broken dream defined
Someone see’s the real you and knows the secrets of your mind

Someone watches over me while I am a someone too
That someone hears the prayers I say for someone such as you

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
