Stargazing
When I look at the stars at night I wonder what can make them bright.
Could it be gasses in their cores like waves that crash upon the shores?
Could it be something burning bright like lanterns on a moonlit night?
Could it be God's amazing eyes that gaze upon me from the skies?
Whate'er it is I do not know but I know something they don't know;
I know my God is watching me from sea to lantern, bird to tree.
