Statistics
1.3 women are raped every minute
78 each hour
1,872 each day
683,280 each year
so where do i fall under
am i not important
or am i just simply overlooked
you asked me to speak
but how can my voice be heard
when it echo's in the midst of women
and thumps the deef ears of men
i have come to understand that i am alone
reading these statistic waiting
hoping to be part of a statistic
