    The New Day


    As I turn another page to begin a new chapter in my life,     

         as I turn my face from 'then' to 'now', 

              I stand amazed. 

                   I feel like a child 

                        staring out the window of her soul 

                             into the light of the new day,  

                                  waiting to go outside and play...
