Tick-Tock

Tick-Tock

Tick-tock, tick-tock

In your life you must take stock,

   of the ever-waning mortal clock.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

Days fade to years, years seem to fly,

it seems like moments as the years pass by.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

From being young and learning to walk,

to learning to play and learning to talk.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

 Growing old and very weary,

about the future and feeling leery.

Tick-tock, tick-tock

The hand of time doesn’t stray,

until your final moment fades away,

Tick-tock, tick-tock
