Time passes by
I know that days pass quickly, and time does not stand stillAnd I know that every person has a life of their own will
But feeling lonely and pushed aside is a feeling not so nice
And I know that when you feel for someone, it will always carry a price
So can I go through life uncaring, and be self centered and so cold
Or do I just enjoy the ride, being carefree and so bold
Do I not think of others feelings and just take pleasure in what I do
Do I only think of myself these days, do I not worry about you
Is life supposed to be that way that we shouldn't carry feelings in our hearts
Are we only supposed to show these values when we're together and not apart
I don't think that I can live that way, so it is easier to just be
Alone with my heart still whole, then alone with someone and not caring, no this isn't me
So I'll walk thru the days that pass quickly and hope one day to find
Someone not afraid to show feelings, someone who won't leave me behind
I know there are many emotions and there are many feelings that are so true
But to love and be loved is a feeling, that I never really knew
I give my heart, my body and soul and in the end how does it make me feel
Just lonely and broken hearted, these feelings are so sureal
I do believe in true love and devotion, yet still being able to be free
To live in unison together, in sharing everything between you and me
So I hope the days don't pass to quickly, and that life just passes us by
Without us knowing that great feeling, for then two beautiful souls did die
Don't look for things in the future, treasure each day we are given the chance
To find the beauty in each other, feelings, caring, sharing loving, that special romance.
