tracks of your tears

Dry your eyes my friend I'm here with open heart and ears
I've come to help you smile, so please dry away those tears
I know that life can seem so rough and times be so unfair
Remember that no matter what there's always someone who does care
Don't let life's little problems bring you sadness and pain
For as the tears run down your face, your smile they will stain
Concentrate on what you have, for there are those who have much less
I know it may be confusing and you feel your life's a mess
But if you have your health and are able to work each day
Look at it as a good thing for your rewarded with your pay
If you have your family, count your blessings from above
Because with this my friend, you'll find, you'll never be without love
If you have some friendships, be thankful for those in which you share
Because in a true friendship, you'll have someone who truely will care
You may awake with and ache or two or just get some bad news
But remember that they will only remain, if that is what you choose
Brush off the little troubles and put a smile on your face
Let all that you have in your life, be your saving grace
Dry those tears that make you blue, stay truthful and stay strong
And no matter which road you choose in life, you never will go wrong
But if the tears remain to fall, they will cloud what you can see
Your mind, your body  and your spirit, will never be set free
The tears will  hold you back my friend from true happiness that we all need
Put a smile in there place and you'll find you enjoy the ride wherever it may lead
