Truly Shine

Truly Shine

When the sun cries
Someone hurt her
And no one cared enough to help her
When the clouds come
You know she is having a bad day
No one to cheer her up
When the storm clears
You know a friend was there
To help her through the hard times
And when the sun shines
The sky is content
But when does the sun ever truly shine?

I like this one. I can feel the emotions clearly conveyed. Life related to weather is a very true analogy. Questioning whether the sun truly shines makes me feel like your searching for light. This is a very intriguing write........E

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
