Werewolves

Werewolves

I took form changed before them
as you find many turned
its night so live animals between time
as we hear your end

along comes our children
eyes white as we look for food
people my first find
a satisfying source

i smell blood
while i hear your scream
i cant see your face till it's too late
now your a part of me

and as you change form
you join this life
and learn the truth
and it cuts like a knife

and its just us under the moon
animals between time
as we watch these mortals these food sacks
forget about us which makes hunting more sublime

Like the werewolf, one of my favorite subjects as well. Excellent write

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
