    Where?

Where does the road lead from my heart?
Where do I go, when do I start?
Where is the girl that I want to marry?
Where is the baby I know she will carry?

At first the road seems aweful tough
So many challenges to make life rough
Second to minutes and then into hours
Sunshine to snow brings April showers

From morning to noon and then into night
The road is a long and endless flight
Driving slowly at first then picking up speed
It is all of the seasons we must heed

The summer is for growing, the fall will bring change
Winter snow covers all of the mountain range
Spring starts the cycle, the birth of the living
Our world needs to change and needs to be giving

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
