A Child's Eyes

A Child's Eyes

Imagine life through a child’s eyes
The awe, the wonder, the surprise
Life was a gift, love for it grew
Remember that things once seemed new

Experience life like a child
Let feelings run completely wild
Rose-coloured glasses aren’t required
A child’s dreams are always inspired

Learn like they do, see what they can
Dream like you should, that is the plan
Never lose that wonder and awe
Look deep although you’ve seen it before

The earth, the sea, the starry skies,
Sunshine, rainbows and butterflies
You’ll never forget if you’re wise
To always view life through a child’s eyes

I really like this poem. So innocently pure..

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
