    The Australian Way

    The Australian way
    Is a friendly "G'day"
    Gather the gang
    And let's all hang
    Your team you cheer
    Sharing cold beer
    Down by the sea
    Having a barbie
    Bringing a plate
    Helping a mate
    A real good sort
    Good on ya sport
    Such a beaut day
    Of sun and play
    And then day ends
    "Hooroo" good friends

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
