    Numbers

    I really do like numbers
    always logical and precise
    Calculating them each day
for the joy of the exercise

I add digits to each other
    the answer given becomes fact
    Should I divide or multiply
Sometimes I might need to subtract

    Numbers simply cannot tell lies
Two and two will always make four
If our lives could be to order
Would we enjoy them so much more

    All things kept in moderation
To be enjoyed and not overdone
Nothing beats a puzzle or two
With numbers you really have fun

    A formula for everything
A pattern seen in all we do
We would all be one and the same
Logical for both me and you

So although I love my numbers
For their orderly ways in life
    The feelings I appreciate
When emotions run free and rife

That is why the best number's eight
    It represents infinity
    It represents the human race
People are more than what you see
