    Dawn

I love to greet each new morn

To rise early to see the dawn

It's special at this time of day

When things are seen a whole new way

Dawn offers us a whole new start

To search and see within our heart

The dark we had is left behind

As light fills our clouded mind

The daily dawn is one of a kind

Helping us past the daily grind

The still, the quiet, flooding in

    Enhances senses long made dim

Bringing us hope and much cheer

Unique in beauty seen so clear

Nothing beats first light at morn

Anything is possible at the dawn

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
