A Mother's Advice To Her Child

My child, come sit here on mother's knee
So I can explain how your life will be.
Open your eyes so that you can see
What your generation is going to be.
My child, you are born in a different time
Where Man has almost destroyed mankind,
Do what you know and feel is right,
I promise your future will be very bright.
When you have problems and don't know what to do,
Pray and ask God, He'll guide you through.
When others have forsaken you and there is no other,
You can always rely on your dear mother.
Someday I will go to my heavenly home.
But you will have God and will never be alone.

That's a beautifully simple poem, and yes, so true.

I actually cried when I read "A Mother's Advice". Well written and well thought out. Every word so true, and needs to be shared with all. God Bless
