A Passion Beyond Compare

A love like honey, electricity, fire
Euphoric, dangerous, laced with Desire
These magnets, our bodies, these vehicles of flesh,
vessels in this angry current of Sex
My fingers clutch yours, our naked skin and breath,
raw, warm and carnal, all senses possessed
Thunder and lightning, this natural storm
I whisper, you moan, I bite and you claw
You bite, I claw, you whisper, I moan
We both say “I’m yours”, that this place is home
Our heartbeats quicken, drums of Africa roar
Every inch of our bodies screaming for more
Our entwined fingers tighten in the sweet blur of time
The tempest, crescendo explodes, so divine
Nothingness, limbo, the slow drift into clouds
Is this space? I’m loathe to come down
Oceans receding, gentle rain now
Our touch soft and sensous
These vessels not ours
