If

A heavy heart in my stomach
Or is it my throat?
Children don’t sulk this bad
I’m seventeen again
It’s just how I’m feeling
Finding things to do to pass the time
My heart is heavy so I move slower
Is this normal?
Of course
After all, you’re one in a billion
Although a kiss goodbye
would be cherished
I can’t help but wonder
how nice it would be
to kiss you hello,
And if circumstances were different,
as more than passing flames
