ARTEMIS AND RUNNING DEER

            ARTEMIS AND RUNNING DEER
                BOTH ROAMING THROUGH THE SEASONS
                FLEETFOOTED, TOGETHER OR APART
                WERE CLOSER THAN THEY KNEW

                THAT SUMMER'S EARLY EV'NING
SUN LOW ... THE   SKY AGLOW
                RUNNING DEER STILL ...ALONE...

                DRINKING FROM A SAFFRON POND.

                ARTEMIS, FAMILIAR WITH THE PLACE
                COMES CLOSER, WITH A SMILE.
                RUNNING DEER, STARTLED AND OFF-GUARD,
                ALMOST TAKING FLIGHT...  STAYS PUT.

NO FEAR, NO HASTE, NO NEEDS, NO DOUBT
                 BUT JUST SOME GOLDEN PEACE...

This poem is a beautiful allegory about the spirit of beauty & grace being of the same nature, despite their being called by different names by different tribes of the Great Spirit's people. It also hints that the pathway to reconciliation among the tribes may best be through the spirit of beauty & grace. Great job!
