    Poem Commentary

    I met, more rather 'found', a girl many years ago. A very good friend. So very kind. All I want to do is be her friend, and then again all I want to do is be more than that. It's a very complicated mix of emotions to explain. Who knows? I do know this, I will remain loyal until the day comes that I am told to stand down. Remember that.

    By the Whales

     I've slept
    I have dreamed
    I believed I truly loved

    So many years ago
    A cold, relentless night
    Peace was torn my fingertips

    Though I have passed on
    The feelings have not
    Burning sensation

    I found a girl today
    Devlishly beautiful
    Scorching bright eyes

    Long flowing hair
    Seemingly other colors
    Pulled by those lips

    Such tender hips
    Such slender sips
    Silently an angel

    Does she know me?
    I see each and every day
    Her magnificent face
