    Daddy Dearest
    You laugh at me
    but never get my jokes
    You sit, you kill
    with your second hand smoke
    then wonder why I'm ill
    And being away
    I'd forgotten
    You don't know my name
    I'm always flippant
    at least I'm not indifferent
    Isn't that a good sign?
    Why do I even try?
    --never-mind.
    Happy Father's Day
    Anyway

    Very sad...and sobering. If this is your story, I feel deeply for you. I know what it's like not to feel loved by your daddy. You're not alone.
